Karen Carroll is Head of Marketing for Right Management UK and the Career Transition Partnership (CTP*). As part of the UK Leadership Team she is responsible for creating, defining and executing the marketing strategy for both brands and contributing to the achievement of wider business objectives. Working closely with sales and operations teams, Karen oversees delivery of a programme of integrated campaigns and client events.
With over 17 years’ marketing communications experience, Karen is proud to lead high performing teams in both Marketing and Events. The Right Management Marketing team is responsible for promotion of high-impact solutions to HR leaders and the remit of the CTP team is to ensure candidates get the optimum benefit from their resettlement programme. This includes delivery of nine large-scale career events nationwide each year.
Previous to joining Right Management, Karen worked at the BBC as a Communications Executive in Governance & Accountability, working closely with the Chairman, Governors and press office. Her time at the BBC included a 9 month secondment in the newsroom working on the BBC Breakfast programme. Prior to this, Karen’s early career was in the Royal Navy as a Warfare specialist where she served for 12 years and travelled extensively around the world.
Karen has a post-graduate CIM Diploma in Marketing Communications and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM) and Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
* The CTP is a partnering agreement between the Ministry of Defence and Right Management, spanning over 20 years and supports over 14,000 Service leavers per year to make a successful transition from the Armed Forces.
